Extending a visual identity system across social media and digital platforms

PROJECT OVERVIEW

As part of the Uncommon Business rebrand, I supported the extension of the updated visual identity across multiple digital platforms. The project focused on translating the refreshed brand system into cohesive social and marketing assets that reinforce consistency, clarity, and brand recognition.

THE CHALLENGE

Rebranding requires more than a new visual identity. It must be applied consistently across all touchpoints. The challenge was to adapt the updated brand system across various platforms while maintaining visual cohesion and optimizing for different formats, dimensions, and user interactions.

THE CONCEPT

The approach centered on creating a unified and scalable visual system across social and digital platforms. By applying consistent typography, color, and graphic elements, the refreshed identity was translated into assets that feel cohesive while remaining flexible for platform specific needs.

The goal was to ensure that every touchpoint, from social profiles to paid advertisements, reflected the same brand voice and visual clarity.

BRAND APPLICATION

The updated brand system was applied across multiple digital touchpoints to create a cohesive visual presence. Instagram reel covers were redesigned using the new typography, color palette, and graphic elements, resulting in a more polished and unified profile.

Platform specific cover graphics were created for Facebook, X, and Notion, adapting the identity to fit each format while maintaining consistency across all channels.

DESIGN IMPACT

This project demonstrates how a brand refresh can be effectively implemented across digital platforms. By creating a consistent system of assets, the work strengthens brand recognition and ensures a cohesive experience across social and marketing channels.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Process involved translating a newly established brand system into real world applications. This included testing layouts across different aspect ratios, refining hierarchy for readability, and ensuring consistency across multiple platforms.

Iterations focused on balancing visual appeal with clarity, adapting designs to meet platform specific requirements while maintaining a cohesive look and feel.
